Noura and Early Education

Long before formal schools reached the area, Noura bint Abdullah Al-Mogbel began holding informal lessons in her home, teaching reading and writing to girls in the family who otherwise had no access to education.

Her daughter Reem later carried this tradition forward, in her own way, by collecting and retelling the family’s oral history to younger generations.
